TECHNICAL AND DESIGN
The Curve 8900 has a silver and black, to the touch and is very handy although not piccolissimo’re well on one hand. Also contrary to what may seem, is very lightweight. The weight is 109 grams, a thickness of 13.5 mm, 109 mm high and 60 wide. It ‘s not your pocket but considering that a full keyboard is really the bulk content.
The phone is a UMTS but GPRS quadband GSM-EDGE, has a comfortable keyboard “QWERTY” and the center has a handy trackball by which to learn to use the phone and move between the various options and icons will be ‘simple. Besides the possibility of connecting via USB, the Curve 8900, has the 2.0 connection via bluetooth and fans of internet connection Wi-Fi.
The display has a resolution of 360×480 pixels and it is wonderful, very clear even to the sun and very good to make the most of the 3.2 megapixel camera with flash and autofocus.
On the back right corner there are buttons to adjust the volume, the button to activate the camera shutter and the entrance to the headset jack and input for the charger and / or data cable and the back left corner is the key for voice commands. On top of the phone we have the right button that controls the exclusion of the microphone during the conversation while on the left of the button locks the phone.
The operating system is astounding, from a quick screen and the other without waiting seconds and to date has not yet jammed;) Coming from a Nokia E65 I have to admit that the difference is huge … Even on the internet, although not UMTS, the mobile phone if the hollow fine even if you do not actually explain why this lack of a cell so comprehensive.
The reception is excellent, the sound quality excellent and the sound clean. Who buys a BB pays because it is known that it has the strength distribution of electronic mail as the RIM has a system optimized for making the most ‘fast to download and read email with attachments. We say that in fact than the Nokia E65 that I was much more responsive even if it is not UMTS. With the BB Curve 8900 can keep in touch on Facebook and MySpace through a dedicated client of this operating system.
The phone comes with almost every option imaginable, from the more ‘mundane as an alarm clock, calendar, mp3 player, camera, voice notes, the creation of videos, games etc etc to the more advanced such as wi-fi, instant messaging and not even missing the GPS …
Let me point out that if you score there vodafone Vodafone Pack for BlackBerry by which, at only € 3 per week or € 10 per month for those who have a subscription, you can ‘unlimited surfing on the internet on my phone via Vodafone live! or the BlackBerry browser, receive and send mail or just use messenger.
Avoiding further extension elec and descriptions, what I can really say is that once tried a BB you can not easily ‘go back … The phone is so simple to use and intuitive that you’ll ‘soon … For several years I have thought that Nokia phones were the most complete but now I can recommend buying this BB, a cell suitable for everyone and designed to last. The price, $399.98, compared to other terminals nokia or samsung is not so prohibitive with the difference that a BB is much less devalues over time.
